ACDA stands for "Anyone Can Do Anything." We can all accomplish so much in life, but often it's difficult to figure out how to track progress against some goal.

The Goal Tracker is a document I created years ago to easily track your progress against any numerical goal.

For example, I have a goal of doing 1 million pushups in my life. Since 2015 I've done more than 710,000. This goal tracker has helped keep me accountable by allowing myself to track every day's activity for the last 8+ years.

A few things to note about the tracking document:

  • Columns B, C and D are laid out for each goal you'd like to track. Some people benefit from tracking one goal, while others want to track more.
  • On the right side (starts at Column H) are the monthly / annual totals. Formulas have already been added so that you can just begin tracking and these columns will populate.
  • If you want to add more than 3 goals to track, you'll need to expand the monthly tracking area to account for those (with formulas).
  • Columns M and N will track how you're pacing toward your goals. In order for these formulas to work properly, you'll need to input the numeric value (the actual goal) in cells B2, C2 and D2.
  • For example, if I set a goal to do 10,000 pushups in a year, I would input "Pushups" where it says "Goal 1" (cell B1). I would then input "10,000" into cell B2. That will then trigger the formula in cell N2 to show how I'm progressing toward the goal (as a percentage).
